1 Peter 1:15-16     1 Peter 2:9-10

“But as He who has called you is Holy so be you Holy in all manner of conversation (everything you do). Because it is written(Lev.11:44) Be you Holy; for I am Holy.”

“But you are a chosen generation; a Royal Priesthood; an Holy nation; a Peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous Light. Which in time past were not a people, but are now the People of God; which had not obtained Mercer, but now have obtained Mercy.”

The Church does not “replace Israel”, it is the increase of Israel to include the “Times of the Gentiles”. – The non-Jew being grafted into the Jewish Root.
